I am astonished!
I just found my old Volvo, the one I drove in the USA, perfectly captured in the new “street view” application in Google Maps.

Of course that is where I lived in Stanford, and that proves that pictures were taken either 2005 or first half of 2006. Unbelievable! I was playing with the application and everything looked so familiar, because even my car was there!
Now I feel a little bit spied!

Man that is one great car… Since I was a kid I´ve always been in love with Volvo. It all started in 1984 when my sister and her boyfriend bought a 1983 240 Turbo, in a rare mint condition. It had ran only a few swedish miles, the color was silver and it got the the silver ribbed plysch interior which made this car special. It was fully equipped, except for Volvo oxygen sensor. Unfortunately, it was often stolen so they got tired of the car and sold it. Now I got a Volvo 244 Turbo in my garage waiting for Google to take a shot on it before someone steal it again…
